The Turbo Kenevo SL 2 Expert from Specialized is an E-Enduro bike made for the toughest trails. With its FACT 11m full carbon frame, which is not only lightweight but also extremely robust, this bike offers first-class performance on descents and difficult terrain. The bike has impressive suspension both front and rear with 170mm of travel each. Suspension at the front is provided by a Fox 38 Performance Elite fork and at the rear by a Fox Float X2 Performance Elite shock, providing excellent damping and control on demanding trails. The new Specialized 1.2 SL Custom Rx Trail Tuned motor delivers smooth and powerful support that lets you ride longer and further without compromising the naturalness of the ride. Together with the Specialized SL1-320 battery, which is fully integrated and has a capacity of 320Wh, this e-bike offers a balanced combination of performance and range. The equipment is also top-notch: with SRAM Code RS brakes, a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain and the SRAM AXS POD Controller drivetrain, the bike offers precise and responsive performance. The Roval Traverse 29 Alloy wheels with an internal width of 30mm are robust and optimized for off-road use. All these high-quality components make the Turbo Kenevo SL 2 Expert an outstanding bike for ambitious enduro riders who don't want to compromise.

Alan Muldoon
The Specialized S-Works Turbo Kenevo SL works its magic in many different ways, but at the root of them all is its superb blend of stability and agility.
- Can hang with the best enduro bikes on the descents and leave them for dead on the climbs. Unobtrusive motor accentuates the positives. Six unique geometry settings
- Battery can’t be removed easily. Limited seat post insertion. It’s a decent deposit on a house.

EMTB Magazin
Plenty of travel, coil shock, progressive geometry: freeriders have become outsiders. But with a motor, the genre is experiencing a revival. The Specialized Turbo Kenevo in the EMTB test.
- System integration
- Modular battery concept
- High stability at high speeds
- Sizing concept does not work
- Equipment does not meet the intended purpose
Robin Weaver
The Kenevo SL might be very, very expensive, but it manages to bridge the gap between regular bike and full-blown e-MTB brilliantly. Seatpost insertion depth is an issue, but otherwise, this could well be the bike we’ve all been waiting for
- Superb handling – more regular bike than e-MTB
- motor is smooth and Mission Control app adds adjustability
- great, adjustable geometry
- balanced, very capable suspension
- The cost is seriously prohibitive (even the cheapest Comp model is £7k)
- not enough seatpost insertion depth and can’t get post low enough in the frame
Peter Walker
- Very intuitive handling
- Motor assistance without significant downsides in downhill riding
- restricted freedom of movement
- thin-walled tires on carbon rims
- shock absorber bottoms out
