The Turbo Kenevo SL 2 Comp from Specialized is a high-performance E-Enduro mountain bike. It has a robust full carbon frame with 170 mm suspension travel at both the front and rear. It is powered by a specially tuned 1.2 SL Custom Rx Trail-Tuned Specialized motor in combination with a fully integrated 320 Wh battery. The equipment includes a Fox 38 Rhythm fork with 170 mm travel, a Fox Float X Performance shock and SRAM Code R brakes with 220 mm rotors. The drive is provided by a SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. The wheels are special 29" Specialized aluminium rims with 30 mm inner width and tubeless-ready. All in all, the Kenevo SL 2 Comp is a high-quality, high-performance e-bike for demanding enduro use on the roughest trails. The combination of powerful motorization, long suspension travel and robust equipment promises an exceptional riding experience.

The Specialized S-Works Turbo Kenevo SL works its magic in many different ways, but at the root of them all is its superb blend of stability and agility.
- Can hang with the best enduro bikes on the descents and leave them for dead on the climbs. Unobtrusive motor accentuates the positives. Six unique geometry settings
- Battery can’t be removed easily. Limited seat post insertion. It’s a decent deposit on a house.

The Kenevo SL might be very, very expensive, but it manages to bridge the gap between regular bike and full-blown e-MTB brilliantly. Seatpost insertion depth is an issue, but otherwise, this could well be the bike we’ve all been waiting for
- Superb handling – more regular bike than e-MTB
- motor is smooth and Mission Control app adds adjustability
- great, adjustable geometry
- balanced, very capable suspension
- The cost is seriously prohibitive (even the cheapest Comp model is £7k)
- not enough seatpost insertion depth and can’t get post low enough in the frame
