Specialized Roubaix Expert

The Roubaix Expert from Specialized is a road bike that not only impresses with its performance at Paris-Roubaix - with seven victories - but also with its innovative design. This model represents a turning point as it offers comfort without compromise. It combines remarkable speed with first-class damping, thanks to the latest Future Shock 2.0 technology. The frame of the Roubaix Expert is made of FACT 10R carbon and is designed according to the Rider First Engineered™ principle. This means that every frame, regardless of size, offers optimum stiffness values and riding characteristics. The FreeFoil Shape Library tubes also contribute to aerodynamic efficiency. The frame is also equipped with a threaded bottom bracket, a 12x142mm thru-axle system and a flat-mount disc mount. The front end of the bike is adorned with the trend-setting Future Shock 2.0 fork with smooth boot, a 12x100mm thru-axle and also a flat-mount disc mount, which provides outstanding damping and thus more control and comfort, especially on uneven roads. For the brakes, the Roubaix Expert relies on Shimano Ultegra R8170 hydraulic discs, which are combined with the Shimano Ultegra R8150, 12-speed rear derailleur and the drive system of the same name.
