The Diverge STR Comp from Specialized is a high-performance gravel bike that can handle even the roughest terrain thanks to its innovative technologies. The FACT 11r carbon frame with integrated Future Shock suspension at the front and rear ensures a comfortable and controlled ride. The Shimano GRX RX820 disc brakes ensure reliable deceleration. The 1x12 Shimano GRX RX820 drivetrain offers a wide range of gears for a wide variety of trail conditions. Thanks to the flat geometry and long wheelbase, the bike promises directional stability and control. The thru-axle thru-axles on the fork and rear triangle also increase stiffness. - +More ride versatility
- +Better all-around performance
- +Impressive comfort across all terrain
- -Added complexity
- -Increased price

I’ve had some time to think about the new Diverge STR. I’ve ridden a lot of gravel bikes since I returned it, and none do what the STR can do. But let’s just go ahead and say what you’re likely thinking: Yeah, but look at it.
