The GT Grade Carbon Expert represents a true revolution in gravel biking and has truly earned its reputation as Gravel Bike of the Year 2020. The renowned frame, which has already been praised by BikeRadar as "agile, fun and powerful in all conditions", comes with a high-quality Shimano 105 parts package that impresses both on the road and off-road. With its innovative floating stays and triple triangle carbon design, this bike offers an exceptional riding experience. The GT brand emphasizes that although they did not invent gravel biking, they have perfected it. In detail, the GT Grade Carbon Expert has a carbon frame with triple triangle design, floating seat stays, 12x142 thru axle, flat mount disc (160mm) for the brakes, a tapered headset and compatibility with Di2 and dropper posts. The carbon fork also has a tapered carbon steerer tube, 12x100 thru axle, a flat mount disc (160mm) and an adjustable flip chip. Braking power is provided by the Shimano GRX 400 Hydro Disc brake system with 160/160mm RT30 rotors. At the rear is a Shimano Ultegra RX800 Shadow Plus rear derailleur, while the drive system consists of Shimano GRX 600. The wheels are WTB ST i23 TCS 2.0, 28h, and tubeless ready, which allows optimal adaptation to different surfaces. In summary, the GT Grade Carbon Expert is a compelling choice not only for gravel enthusiasts, but for anyone looking for a high-performance, adaptable and fun bike.
