The Force might not offer the best value or be the fastest on the climbs, but its ability to soak up the hits makes it a seriously rapid descender

Pros
  1. Rear suspension works incredibly well on rough trails
  2. decent fork, shock and tyres
  3. nice geometry
  4. you can alter chainstay lengths
Cons
  1. Gearing and wheels could be better considering the price
  2. not the best climber when the going gets steep

GT have delivered on their claims of making an enduro bike for big hitters and gravity hogs as the Force Carbon Pro charges hard and thoroughly enjoys steep and rowdy descents.

Pros
  1. A step in the right direction
  2. Fast and fun
  3. Stability at speed
  4. Loves steeps
  5. GT’s back!
Cons
  1. Value
  2. Some spec/finish oversights
  3. High pivot drawbacks

The thoroughly redesigned new GT Force Carbon Pro LE is the brand's new 29er enduro race bike with a carbon front end and alloy rear.

Pros
  1. Rides like a regular bike. Balanced riding position. No adaptation time required as the axle path isn’t so rearward as to feel too different. Good stiffness to flex response.
Cons
  1. Tricky to set up suspension. Not the lightest. Needs a Double Down casing rear tyre. No mullet link for shorter riders.

  2. A versatile high-pivot bike
  3. Silent on the downhills
  4. Robust design and feel
  5. A big bike that can be your one bike
Cons
  1. Idler noise on climbs
  2. Questionable wheel spec at this price
